All about PKE
Palm kernel expeller meal (PKE) is a co-product from the manufacturing of palm kernel oil by the mechanical extraction of palm kernels. A dark brown protein meal with relatively high oil and high fibre levels, palm kernel meal is a good source of protein and fat (for energy). The high fibre levels can be a advantage when fed as part of a balanced diet for cattle. It is safe to feed to cattle, as with this energy source there is no risk of acidosis.
Where we get our PKE
Our biggest private customer in Indonesia, Sinarmas SMART is the largest palm plantation operator/owner and miller in the country. They also have the best milling technology in the region to produce top quality product, and dry storage facility for PKE to ensure the moisture is at controlled level.
